These days body parts and skin fascinate me so much that I want to document what I see. Why this fascination? For me human skin and body parts are beautiful. But why so much attention now? Maybe it is because my own body does not have that much time anymore to exist. The same applies to many other people, but I hope not for mankind.

In the first series I primarily show human skin in a way that it may take some time before you realize that it is human. This may enhance the experience. “Ah, this is human.”

In the second series what the pictures show is clearly human, but  the representation is unusual, and therefore the effect can be the same.  “Yes, this is human.”
